Vitamin D deficiency and IPF

Research suggests a link between Vitamin D deficiency a risk of developing chronic lung diseases. The findings of a study in mice, and IPF patients, suggests a role for Vitamin D deficiency in lung fibrosis. Vitamin D
deficiency appears to be linked to more severe disease and may help to predict mortality.
