Nene Valley Railway Trip- October 19th

Come and join us on a great day out travelling on a historic train from Wansford Station.

The journey takes you westwards under the A1 and through an historic tunnel to the picturesque end of line station at Yarwell. Watch the loco disconnect and run round to bring the train back eastwards to Wansford and onwards to Overton for Ferry Meadows Country park. Continue on the journey through Orton Mere to the end of the line at Peterborough Station adjacent to Railworld and a short walk into the town centre along the river bank, returning back to Wansford.

Tickets prices:-
Adult £16
Seniors £13
Children £8
Family £40,
Carer £1 (For those caring for a passenger with a valid ticket). This means that if you are a Senior (over 60) and have a carer the total
price for the day will be £14, a great price for a great day out.

Disabled Facilities:

Full access is provided to most locations for disabled persons and most trains have a specially adapted carriage.
Disabled toilet facilities are available at Wansford.

Turntable Café at Wansford Station:
The café is open from 9am – 4pm every day. Serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, home cooked meals, cakes, confectionary and
ice creams.On running days, they offer their famous homemade sausage rolls which are always in demand, and, unless sold out, they aim to always have a gluten free cake on offer, as well as non-gluten free options.

Carriage of dogs:
The Railway is pleased to welcome all dogs and their owners onto our trains, subject to their owners ensuring that their dogs do not cause a
distraction to the operation of the train or inconvenience and difficulties to fellow passengers. In addition, dogs are not allowed onto
carriage seats. There is a small charge for dogs who also get their own ticket.
